Steve Zafeiriou (b. 1998, Thessaloniki, GR) is a New Media Artist, Technologist, and Founder of Saphire Labs. His practice investigates how technology can influence, shape, and occasionally distort the ways individuals perceive the external world. By employing generative algorithms, electronic circuits, and interactive installations, he examines human behavior in relation to the illusory qualities of perceived reality, inviting observers to reconsider their assumptions and interpretations.

Description

Dark Tales is an AI-augmented experiment in existential literature, distilled into a limited NFT constellation of black & white photographs and text fragments.

Each token opens a fissure in the fractured memories of Cormac Delaney, a man or perhaps something stranger, whose search of meaning dissolves into surreal stories of myth, cult, occult and unkown nature, walking the line of the trembling boundaries of perception.

Composed of 50 interwoven stories, the collection fuses post photography with living prose; holders do not merely possess a relic but a self rewriting idea, a recursive mirror that mutates whenever it is observed.

Acquire a piece of literature that refuses to settle, where every gaze redraws the meaning of its own dread.

Collectors can head to darktales.xyz, connect their wallet, and initiate their first interaction with each photo.

Every exchange spawns a collector’s report, preserved in a public archive so anyone may investigate the growing mythology.

The report and a snapshot of the dialogue are inscribed into the token’s metadata, yet the full transcript remains end to end encrypted; visible only to the owner of the token.
